On June 15th, 2018, Lonnie Sherman, General Needs Founder & President , and Susan Sherman, General Needs Co-Founder & Secretary, were honored with the Service to the Armed Forces Award. The event was held by The American Red Cross on Long Island, who, for 101 years has helped the community prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
